Driver Qualification Files

Ensure all drivers have one license – Check CDLIS database
Ensure the driver has the appropriate endorsements for the types of commodities transported.
Ensure all drivers are qualified. If drivers are disqualified, take the appropriate steps to re-qualify the driver.
Set up each driver in the Pull Notice Program (Electronic Version).
Bi-annually review the driver’s Commercial Driver’s License.
Perform Medical Registry Verification and upload verification to secure database.
Verify medical is on file with licensing agency and driver certification reflects accurate driving status (intrastate vs interstate).
Ensure every driver has a compliant qualification file.
Ensure each file has all required FMCSA/CHP documentation and is updated at the required time intervals.
Complete previous employer inquiries per the FMCSA regulations
